Just graduated in 1975 from the University of Architecture of Palermo, Sicily Antonino Cascio leaves his home island for a trip to France . He first stopped in Paris a few months ... then spent a long time in the south and from Jordan.
He will work to achieve a major housing complex : apartment buildings , villas, commercial and civic center , a school, a mosque ... combining innovative concepts and related oriental .
Back on the Côte d' Azur in 1988 , Antonino Cascio decided to settle there and was noted for its resolutely contemporary creations including individual luxury villas which make its reputation.
Over the years , he built a series of houses adapted to their environment, view to the Mediterranean light. It is guided by a concern for human scale of architecture , seeking a simple answer accurately adapted to the needs and site.
The search for uniqueness materials between inside and outside makes houses serenely into the landscape : The villa " Quadra" cube of wood and glass in the trees, the villa " Minima " raw concrete parallelepiped wide open on the Baie des Anges the villa "Stella" with its boardwalks such a vessel between the sky and the sea, " Gethsemane " volume set of stone and white concrete amidst olive trees , etc ...
Although the villas are the best example of the lightness of his style, the architect Antonino Cascio also invested in various programs : collective housing , offices, public facilities.
